The first thing that you want to do is pull over immediately to a safe area, as far away from traffic as possible.   • Do not attempt to do a flat tire repair on punctures that are larger than ¼ of an inch or when there is damage to the sidewalls and shoulder.

  • When in doubt, contact your local roadside assistance team. Do not risk your own safety.
