Take a deep breath.

Always keep your keys on a carabiner, one of those clippy things mountain climbers use. Then, when you get out of the car, you can clip them onto your pants or your purse. Once you’re in the habit, you’ll do it without even thinking. Which is a lot better than locking them in without thinking.
Make a spare set of keys and give it to someone you trust. If your sister has a copy of your car key, she can open your door for you, instead of paying roadside assistance to do it.
Start using your keys to lock the car door, even if you’ve already pressed the button to lock all the doors at once, lock it again with your key in hand. No, you’re not being obsessive, you’re just protecting yourself. If you lock the door manually, with the key, you can’t leave that key in the car.
